Artist statement
Yang DaoyingHis ancestral home is Yuncheng, Shandong, and he was born in Qitai, Xinjiang. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and the Chinese Hard-Pen Calligraphers Association. He is the chief editor and lead instructor of the Good View Calligraphy Network School courses, a specially appointed expert of the Cultural Industry Committee of the China Cultural Management Association, a director of the Changji Prefecture Calligraphers Association in Xinjiang, and a member of the Fukang Municipal Political Consultative Conference. He has studied calligraphy at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and graduated from the advanced research class on flower-and-bird painting at the China National Academy of Arts. He studied calligraphy for many years with Mr. Liu Wenhua and studied freehand brushwork with Mr. Wu Yueshi. His calligraphy and painting works have been selected and awarded in multiple national exhibitions, and his works are collected by many institutions and collectors, including the National Museum of China.Collect。
